Weekly Photo Challenge: Merge

The challenge made me ponder upon the word “merge” being on different levels which are superficial, intrinsic, and the combination of both. These levels are represented by the photographs below.

Level 1

These two different entities; standup paddle boarders and harboring ships, merge by existing in a common ground that is the sea.

Level 2

I was sitting side by side with Audrey Hepburn look-alike which was actually the wax replica of the British actress and humanitarian. It was fascinating how the creator merged the original features into the wax so perfectly that it took some time to tell that she was not real.

Level 3

Marriage is meant to merge two individuals of completely different backgrounds as one. This pre-wedding (I assumed) shoot, as a matter of fact, took place in an unusual site and thus merging nature to the occasion. In addition, the bridge on which they were standing has a shape of transverse wave. It’s double triple merging! :D

Cheers,

Tania
